📢 Basketball Basics registrations are open for Term 3 2024.

What is Basketball Basics

Basketball Basics is an inclusive program developed by Wagga Basketball which provides an environment where children of all ages and abilities learn the fundamental basics of basketball.

Basketball Basics is a development program that is designed to teach basic individual skills to new/developing players.

The program sessions are aimed at developing the following range of skills:

🏀 Dribbling

🏀 Passing

🏀 Shooting

🏀 Pivoting / footwork

🏀 Basic individual defensive fundamentals

🏀 Basic individual offensive fundamentals

🏀 Concept of teamwork

Schedule

⏰ Each Monday from 4:30pm to 5:15pm at PCYC Wagga

📅 TERM 3 commences Monday, 29 July 2024 and finishes Monday, 23 September 2024

Cost

$85

Don't forget you can also use the Active Kids Voucher when registering your child (valued at $50).

All participants will be required to have PCYC membership. A junior membership is $15 per year and can be purchased at https://www.pcycnsw.org.au/wagga-wagga.

System Change

GameDay is being replaced with a platform called Basketball Connect.  There is lots of exciting functionality that it will introduce and we will be providing more information on the new platform over the next few weeks leading into our Spring season. For now, the Basketball Basics program has been launched on Basketball Connect and when you click onto the registration link you will be required to recreate your profile which will then link the GameDay profile to Basketball Connect.

Instructions to Register to Basketball Connect

If this is your first time logging onto Basketball Connect;

Select: New User – Register under the New Member tab (if possible, use the same email address used for your GameDay Account)

Select: New Participant Registration & follow instructions.  Information is required on the sections with a red asterix.

Existing GameDay profiles have been imported into Basketball Connect and hopefully will match the details you have entered.

Page 2 – Under Membership Details – tick box and select Basketball Basics from the drop box and continue

If you are wanting to use an Active Kids Voucher for this program;

On the ‘Your Order’ section of the form there is a tab – ‘Add Government Voucher’

This is where you are able to add your voucher.
